The Friday immediately following Apple’s September 9 event falls on September 11. Reports suggest Apple may alter its usual schedule and begin accepting pre-orders on Saturday, September 12, instead.
The timing of pre-orders could also change. Apple typically starts iPhone pre-orders at 5 AM Pacific Time, but the new rumour suggests that pre-orders could open at midnight Pacific Time.
If accurate, the revised schedule would apply not only to the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max but potentially to other products announced during the September 9 event, including the rumoured Apple Watch Series 12.
However, the iPhone Ultra could follow a different launch timetable.
Several earlier reports have suggested that Apple’s first foldable iPhone may arrive later than the iPhone 18 Pro models, despite potentially being unveiled alongside them during the same event.
This means that the iPhone Ultra’s pre-orders could begin at a later date, while the Pro and Pro Max models may follow the September 12 schedule.
