Apple Unveils AppleCare One Multi-Device Protection Plan

Apple has officially introduced AppleCare One, a new protection plan designed to simplify and expand coverage for multiple Apple devices under one subscription.

Available in the United States starting tomorrow, AppleCare One offers comprehensive benefits similar to AppleCare+, but with added flexibility and savings.

For just $19.99 per month, AppleCare One covers up to three eligible devices, regardless of type. Customers can add additional devices for $5.99 per month each. To qualify, a device must be under four years old, while headphones must be less than a year old, and all devices must be in good working condition at the time of enrollment.

AppleCare One includes unlimited repairs for accidental damage like drops and spills, battery service, 24/7 priority access to Apple experts, and fast Apple-certified repairs. Importantly, it also extends theft and loss coverage to iPads and Apple Watches—a first for Apple’s protection plans.

Users can manage their AppleCare One subscription directly from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting an Apple Store. Devices can be added or removed at any time, offering greater control and convenience than traditional AppleCare+ plans.

In terms of value, enrolling an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch under AppleCare One can save users around $11 monthly compared to purchasing separate AppleCare+ plans for each. Additionally, AppleCare One offers a longer enrollment window, extending beyond the typical 60-day period required by AppleCare+.

Another notable feature is automatic transfer: when a user trades in a covered device through Apple, the old product is seamlessly removed from the plan and replaced with the new one.
