Ariana Grande is teasing fans with a mysterious update that hints at the next phase of her acclaimed Eternal Sunshine era.

On Wednesday, August 27, the Grammy-winning superstar shared a cryptic Instagram video that instantly set social media buzzing. The short clip showed Grande’s hand trembling slightly as she tapped a screen flashing the message: “A corrupt file has been found and corrected.” Moments later, the screen transitioned to a new message: “See you next year … Announcement loading …”

Grande, now 32, stopped short of revealing exactly what the announcement entails. Still, loyal fans believe it may be tied to her chart-topping seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine. The post was shared in collaboration with her Brighter Days Instagram account and featured the same neon blue, sci-fi visuals seen in the Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead short film, fueling further speculation.

While details remain under wraps, the possibility of live shows has fans particularly excited. Back in July, Grande hinted at a potential return to the stage, telling her followers she was “working on a plan to sing for you all next year,” even if only for a short run.

Grande also reassured her audience that music remains her top priority, writing, “very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music … !!! it is and has always been my lifeline.”

Eternal Sunshine, released in March 2024, produced two Hot 100 No. 1 hits and topped the Billboard 200 for three weeks.
