Atlas Honda Enters EV Market with Launch of Icon E Scooter

Atlas Honda has made a significant leap into the electric vehicle segment by launching its first-ever electric scooter, the Honda Icon E, in Pakistan.

This marks a historic moment as the company enters the EV market alongside the introduction of the new Honda CG 150 motorcycle.

A New Era Begins for Honda in Pakistan

For decades, Atlas Honda has dominated the local motorcycle industry, particularly with its CG 125 and 70cc lineup. Now, embracing the future of mobility, the brand has stepped into the electric domain with the unveiling of the Honda Icon E, a stylish and eco-friendly electric scooter.

Price and Availability

The ex-factory price of the Honda Icon E is set at Rs 419,900, making it a premium addition to the local two-wheeler market. Bookings are expected to begin soon through authorized Honda dealerships nationwide.

Bold and Modern Design

From the image revealed at the launch, the Honda Icon E flaunts a modern, aerodynamic design. The front fascia is aggressive and features a futuristic LED headlamp setup enclosed in a stylish casing, giving the scooter a bold road presence. The side profile is compact yet muscular, with sharp body panels that reflect Honda’s new design language.

The scooter is available in three dynamic colors — glossy black, metallic red, and matte white with black accents — all of which appeal to a younger, urban audience. Each color variant features smart angular cuts and clean lines that emphasize its sporty character.

Urban Utility and Comfort

The Honda Icon E appears to be designed with urban mobility in mind. Its wide seat and upright riding posture suggest a comfortable ride for both the rider and passenger.

A flat floorboard adds to the scooter’s practicality, allowing space for carrying goods — a feature showcased in the launch images where small packages are seen on the footboards.

Though technical specifications like battery range, charging time, and motor output are yet to be officially disclosed, the scooter is expected to deliver efficient city commuting with zero emissions.

Conclusion

With the launch of the Honda Icon E, Atlas Honda has not only diversified its portfolio but also shown commitment to a greener future. As electric mobility gains traction in Pakistan, the Icon E positions Honda to lead the market with innovation, reliability, and sustainability.
