Pakistan’s two-wheeler market is gearing up for a major shift as Atlas Honda prepares to introduce its first electric scooter tailored to local riders.

In alignment with the government’s National Electric Vehicle Policy, the company has confirmed its plans to launch the eco-friendly vehicle within the current financial year.

Atlas Honda is actively coordinating with regulatory bodies to obtain the required permissions and certifications, ensuring a smooth market entry.

Although the company has not officially disclosed the name of the upcoming model, industry insiders suggest that the highly anticipated Honda Benly e electric scooter will soon hit Pakistani roads. Reports indicate that the model has undergone extensive road testing ahead of its launch.

Expected Specifications of the Honda Benly e

The Honda Benly e boasts a compact yet efficient electric engine designed for urban commuting. With dimensions of 1820mm in length, 710mm in width, and 1025mm in height, it offers a ground clearance of 115mm, making it suitable for varied Pakistani road conditions. Weighing approximately 125kg, the scooter ensures a stable and balanced ride.

The vehicle comes fitted with 110-9 PR tires on both ends and is powered by a maintenance-free lithium-ion battery, offering reliable performance and low upkeep.

Key Features and Practical Design

Designed with everyday utility in mind, the Honda Benly e features a comfortable 70mm seat height for a relaxed ride. Its clean and classic aesthetic is enhanced by LED headlamps and a digital speedometer. An accessory socket is also included for mobile charging on the go.

Additional practical features include knuckle guards to shield the rider’s hands from dust and wind, a front basket, and an inner pocket to conveniently store small items. A robust front brake system contributes to improved road safety.

Launch and Availability

While Atlas Honda has yet to confirm an official release date, the electric scooter is expected to debut before the end of the current fiscal year. It will reportedly be launched in a white color variant, catering to eco-conscious consumers looking for affordable, fuel-free mobility.
