Bangladesh is eyeing a clean sweep against Pakistan in the third and final T20I of the ongoing series, set to be played on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

With victories in the first two encounters, the home side has already clinched the series—marking their first-ever multi-match T20I series triumph over Pakistan. Now, Bangladesh are determined to extend their dominance and secure a 3-0 whitewash.

For Pakistan, the series has been a tough outing so far, particularly due to poor batting performances. In the second T20I, the visitors collapsed to 15/5 and later 47/7 while chasing a modest target of 134. Despite a valiant effort from Faheem Ashraf, the team eventually fell short, handing Bangladesh another comfortable win.

Pakistan’s batting unit will be under pressure to redeem themselves, with key players like Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris, and skipper Salman Agha expected to rise to the occasion. The team’s frequent run-outs and soft dismissals have raised serious concerns that need immediate addressing.

However, on the bowling front, Pakistan have found some positives. Young pacers Salman Mirza and Ahmed Daniyal have delivered promising spells and will aim to finish the series strong.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, continue to build momentum in the T20 format. After a recent series win over Sri Lanka, this ongoing victory against Pakistan further boosts their credentials.

The bowling attack—led by Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Mahedi Hasan—has consistently dismantled Pakistan’s batting, showcasing strong teamwork and discipline.

While Litton Das has struggled with the bat, Parvez Hossain Emon and Jaker Ali have made vital contributions, especially on challenging pitches.

Bangladesh will now look to recreate their Test success from last year—when they whitewashed Pakistan in their own backyard—by doing the same in the T20I series at home.

As both teams gear up for the final clash, all eyes will be on whether Bangladesh can complete the sweep or if Pakistan can salvage pride before heading to their Caribbean tour.
