Dhaka, August 22, 2025 – The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, set to take place next month, as part of preparations for next year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das will captain the Bangladesh side, continuing in the role after leading the team to historic T20I series victories over Sri Lanka and Pakistan earlier this year. The squad also includes a return for experienced wicketkeeper Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan, who last featured in the T20I format during the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.
The announcement highlights Bangladesh’s intent to combine experience and youth, with seasoned pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed reinforcing the bowling attack. Alongside them, emerging talents like Tanzid Hasan and Tawhid Hridoy will aim to deliver strong performances.
