Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were recently seen spending relaxed family time together just days ahead of Christmas, offering a glimpse into their supportive dynamic months after finalising their divorce.

The former couple, who officially settled their split in January after two years of marriage, reunited on December 21 in Los Angeles for a low-key shopping trip. According to E! News, Affleck and Lopez were joined by Affleck’s youngest son, Samuel Affleck, 13, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

The trio was spotted visiting several stores at the Brentwood Country Mart before enjoying lunch at a nearby farmers’ market. The casual outing appeared calm and family-focused, drawing little attention and reflecting a sense of normalcy rather than a public spectacle.

Affleck, 53, and Samuel were dressed in coordinated neutral-toned winter outfits, while Lopez, 56, opted for a cosy yet polished look. She paired a thick cardigan with a brown dress and boots, keeping her style understated for the daytime outing.

The reunion comes just two months after the former spouses appeared together professionally at the New York City premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman in October. Both Affleck and Lopez served as producers on the musical drama, which is adapted from the 1992 stage production. Lopez also stars in the film as Ingrid Luna, a performance Affleck praised publicly at the time.

“Jennifer is incredible in this movie,” Affleck said, highlighting the demanding nature of the role, which required singing, dancing and acting without the benefit of heavy editing.

Lopez, who shares twins Max and Emme, 17, with singer Marc Anthony, later acknowledged Affleck’s role in bringing the project to the screen. Speaking on Today in October, she said, “If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have gotten made.”

Their recent family outing suggests that, despite the end of their marriage, Affleck and Lopez continue to share mutual respect and maintain a cooperative, family-first relationship.
