Global K-pop icons BLACKPINK have officially returned with their brand-new EP “DEADLINE,” marking BLACKPINK’s first group release in more than three years since their 2022 full-length album.
The highly anticipated comeback has created massive excitement among fans worldwide, once again proving the unmatched global power of BLACKPINK.
To celebrate the launch, Seoul’s National Museum of Korea was illuminated in vibrant pink lights, honoring BLACKPINK and their latest musical chapter.
More than 300 devoted fans gathered inside the museum’s atrium, which was transformed into a special listening zone where attendees experienced all five tracks of the new EP together.
With “DEADLINE,” BLACKPINK continues to expand their record-breaking legacy. Earlier this month, BLACKPINK became the first artist in the world to surpass 100 million subscribers on YouTube, according to YG Entertainment.
Over the years, BLACKPINK has also made history as the first K-pop group to headline major global festivals such as Coachella and British Summer Time.
The new EP features five tracks, including the powerful title song “GO” and the previously released EDM-inspired track “JUMP.”
Despite focusing on individual careers in recent years, all four members of BLACKPINK renewed their group contracts in 2023 while pursuing solo ventures.
Notably, Rosé achieved major success in 2025 with her chart-topping single “APT.” alongside Bruno Mars.
