Blackpink star Lisa has taken a significant step in her career by officially signing with WME to pursue acting. This move opens an exciting new chapter for Lisa, the Thai singer, rapper, dancer, and actor, who has already impressed fans with her screen debut.

Lisa, whose full name is Lalisa Manobal, starred in the Thailand-set third season of HBO’s hit drama The White Lotus. In the series, Lisa played Mook, a wellness professional and love interest of Gaitok, portrayed by Tayme Thapthimthong. The season, released in February 2025, earned 23 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, and highlighted Lisa’s talent on an international stage.

Even before venturing into acting, Lisa was a global icon in the music world. She launched her solo career in 2021, setting multiple Guinness World Records, including the most Instagram followers for a K-pop artist. Lisa became the first solo K-pop act to win at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV European Music Awards.

In 2024, Lisa founded her own company, LLOUD Co., and released solo tracks like Rockstar, New Woman with Rosalía, and Moonlit Floor. Her debut solo album, Alter Ego, debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. Lisa also made a memorable debut at Coachella earlier this year, further cementing her status as a global superstar.
