Blake Lively submits video in harassment case against Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively has submitted a behind-the-scenes video from the It Ends With Us set as evidence in her ongoing sexual harassment case against co-star and director Justin Baldoni. The footage, obtained by TMZ on November 17, has become a key element in the legal battle that began in late 2024.

The video shows Baldoni, 41, making remarks to Lively that she later cited as inappropriate. In the clip, he appears to say, “I think it’s pretty hot. Sexy,” before asking for a toothpick because she “had something in her teeth.” He then turns to Jenny Slate and jokes that he “missed the sexual harassment training,” paired with an exaggerated eye roll toward the camera.

According to a recent court filing, Baldoni’s attorney argued that he apologized “if his remark was inappropriate,” claiming Lively responded that it was “all good,” though the audio is unclear. His legal team further insisted the “sexy” comment was harmless, emphasizing she was dressed in a fleece onesie during filming.

Lively filed her lawsuit in December 2024, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment, retaliation and other misconduct. Baldoni countersued, but his case was dismissed in June 2025. He is now asking the judge to dismiss Lively’s lawsuit as well, arguing that “no reasonable jury” would grant her request for $161 million in alleged lost profits.

The high-profile case is scheduled to go to trial in March 2026.
