The upcoming electric luxury sedan gets a refreshed design, illuminated grille and advanced Neue Klasse technology internationally.
BMW Dewan has officially teased the facelifted BMW i7 in Pakistan, signaling the arrival of an updated version of BMW’s flagship electric luxury sedan in the local market.
The company shared a teaser carrying the message, “A Tribute To Dedication. The New BMW i7.” The short video provides an early glimpse of the updated model, particularly highlighting its redesigned front daytime running lights (DRLs) and illuminated kidney grille.
However, BMW Dewan has not yet announced the price, booking details or launch date for the facelifted i7 in Pakistan. The company has also yet to reveal which specifications and features will be offered in the local market.
Based on the international version, the new BMW i7 facelift brings significant updates while retaining the same underlying platform. The luxury electric sedan continues with its long-wheelbase body measuring around 5.4 meters, offering a spacious cabin aimed at the premium luxury segment.
BMW i7 Facelift Gets Improved Range
Internationally, the updated BMW i7 features a 101.7 kWh usable NMC battery and can deliver up to 727 kilometers of claimed range. This represents a significant improvement over the outgoing model despite the battery capacity remaining broadly similar.
Charging capability has also been upgraded, with DC fast charging reaching up to 250 kW. Under suitable conditions, the battery can reportedly charge from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes.
The new i7 also benefits from a standard heat pump for improved efficiency, while vehicle-to-load (V2L) and potentially vehicle-to-home capabilities further expand its functionality.
Updated Interior and Technology
Inside, the facelifted BMW i7 receives technology inspired by BMW’s newer Neue Klasse models. The cabin features an updated infotainment setup, including a large central touchscreen and BMW’s latest digital interface.
The luxury sedan is also expected to retain premium passenger-focused equipment, including advanced rear-seat entertainment, highly adjustable seats, massage functions, wireless smartphone connectivity, intelligent navigation and over-the-air software updates.
Powerful Electric Performance
Internationally, BMW offers the updated i7 in 50 xDrive, 60 xDrive and M70 xDrive variants. These versions produce approximately 455 hp, 544 hp and 680 hp respectively.
Depending on the variant, acceleration from 0–62 mph can take as little as 3.8 seconds. All versions feature all-wheel drive, while adaptive air suspension and optional rear-axle steering further enhance comfort and maneuverability.
For now, BMW Dewan’s teaser confirms that the new BMW i7 is being considered for the Pakistani market, while local pricing, booking and specifications remain awaited.
