New York, March 24, 2026 – Global K-pop sensation BTS made a powerful return to the United States stage after four years, delivering an unforgettable rooftop performance that sent fans into a frenzy.
The seven-member group—RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—headlined the exclusive “Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE” event in New York City on March 23, 2026. The intimate showcase was attended by just 1,000 top listeners from Spotify, making it one of the most sought-after fan events of the year.
The performance marked BTS’s first appearance in the U.S. since 2022 and featured a dynamic mix of live music, interactive Q&A sessions, and immersive fan experiences inspired by their latest album, ARIRANG.
Speaking during a Q&A moderated by Suki Waterhouse, RM expressed gratitude to fans, saying the group was honored to return and reconnect with their global fanbase, known as ARMY. Despite chilly weather and rain, fans gathered enthusiastically to witness performances of standout tracks including “2.0,” “NORML,” and their latest single “SWIM.”
The event concluded on an emotional note, highlighting the group’s strong bond with fans. It followed their global comeback concert, BTS The Comeback Live: ARIRANG, which was streamed to audiences in 190 countries from Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square and attended by over 100,000 fans.
The album ARIRANG has already achieved massive success, selling nearly 4 million copies on its first day. BTS is now set to kick off their world tour on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, with U.S. shows beginning April 25, followed by stops across Europe, Asia, and Australia through 2027.
