BYD Pakistan is reportedly gearing up to further strengthen its position in the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) segment by introducing two new electric SUVs in the local market.
After the strong response to the BYD Atto 3, followed by the launch of the BYD Seal electric sedan and the Shark 6 PHEV pickup, the Chinese automaker now appears ready to take on Pakistan’s increasingly competitive electric SUV market.
According to media reports, BYD Pakistan may launch the BYD Atto 2 and the BYD Sealion 7 by the end of January 2026, expanding its EV lineup to cater to both urban users and premium SUV buyers.
BYD Atto 2: A Compact Electric SUV for City Life
The BYD Atto 2 is expected to be positioned as a subcompact all-electric SUV, designed specifically for urban mobility while offering a sporty and modern design.
It follows BYD’s signature Dragon Face design language, created by Global Design Director Wolfgang Egger, giving it a bold and dynamic road presence.
With short overhangs, sharp curves, and muscular proportions, the Atto 2 delivers a youthful and athletic look.
The LED headlights with distinctive DRLs improve visibility and safety, while the continuous Möbius ring-inspired tail lamps add a premium and futuristic touch.
