BYD Auto Japan Co., Ltd., has officially launched its latest electric vehicle, the “BYD SEAL,” as the third model in its Japanese lineup. This new electric vehicle is now available for purchase at 55 authorized BYD AUTO dealers nationwide.
Positioned as an innovative “e-sports sedan” within Japan’s competitive sedan market, the BYD SEAL aims to establish itself as the flagship model, enhancing brand recognition and consumer appeal.
To kick off its market entry, BYD Auto Japan has introduced a limited-time special introductory campaign, offering discounted pricing and initial purchase bonuses, targeting early adopters enthusiastic about electric vehicles.
The BYD SEAL is offered in two configurations: the base model featuring rear-wheel drive and an advanced four-wheel-drive AWD variant. Prices start at 5.28 million yen (tax included) for the base model and 6.05 million yen (tax included) for the AWD variant.
Deliveries are scheduled to commence by late July for the base model and late August for the AWD version. Both configurations come with a choice of five exterior colors and a stylish black interior. Future subsidies under the CEV (Clean Energy Vehicle) program are pending council approval, potentially offering further financial incentives to buyers.
