The 22-year-old Spanish tennis sensation defeated Hungary’s Fabian Marozsan in four sets, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, to book his place in the third round of the prestigious Grand Slam.

In women’s singles, world number one Aryna Sabalenka defeated Switzerland’s Jil Teichmann 6-3, 6-1 in just 79 minutes. Chinese star Zheng Qinwen also impressed, defeating Colombia’s Emiliana Arango 6-2, 6-3. Zheng could potentially face Sabalenka in the quarterfinals, setting up a highly anticipated clash.
