Caviar Unveils 18K Gold Huawei Mate XT Ultimate

Caviar, luxury brand, has unveiled an exclusive version of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, featuring an 18k gold body.

This latest creation adds to their previous Black Dragon and Gold Dragon models, with the latter already adorned in 24k gold. The new 18k gold version takes opulence to the next level, targeting ultra-wealthy clientele.

Key Details of the 18k Gold Mate XT Ultimate

The 18k gold Huawei Mate XT Ultimate mirrors the design of the Gold Dragon model but is significantly heavier, weighing approximately 1 kg.

With a price tag exceeding $100,000 (€95,890/INR8,539,350), this one-of-a-kind edition was commissioned for an exclusive client in the United States. Unlike Caviar’s other luxury devices, this particular unit will not be available for general sale or listed on their website.

Updates on the 24k Gold Mate XT Ultimate

The 24k gold version of the Mate XT Ultimate, announced in September, has also seen a price increase. Initially launched at $14,500 (€13,905/INR1,238,205), its base price now stands at $17,340 (€16,630/INR1,480,725).

Limited to just 88 units, this model resonates with Chinese cultural beliefs, as the number 88 symbolizes luck and prosperity.

Standard Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Specs and Availability

For those seeking a more conventional option, Huawei’s standard Mate XT Ultimate offers premium features without the extravagant price.

Weighing around 300 g, it starts at CNY19,999 ($2,740/€2,630/INR233,925). Currently exclusive to the Chinese market, Huawei plans an international launch for this model in Q1 2025.

Caviar’s foray into ultra-luxury smartphones underscores the growing demand for customized high-end gadgets. With its opulent gold designs and limited-edition releases, the brand continues to cater to a niche market of affluent buyers seeking exclusivity and sophistication in their devices.
