Changan Alsvin Sees Price Hike of Up to Rs 100,000

Changan Alsvin Lumiere

Changan Pakistan has officially increased the prices of its locally assembled vehicles, including the popular Changan Alsvin sedan, with effect from July 1, 2025. The price hike applies to the entire model range, including Alsvin, Oshan X7, Karvaan, and Sherpa.

This price revision follows new government policies introduced under the Federal Budget 2025–26. Most notably, the NEV (New Energy Vehicle) Adoption Levy has directly impacted the production costs across the auto sector, prompting manufacturers to pass on the burden to consumers.

Updated Changan Alsvin Prices

The compact and fuel-efficient Changan Alsvin now comes with higher price tags. The Alsvin Comfort 1.37L MT has seen a Rs 90,000 jump, bringing the new price to Rs 4,189,000.

Meanwhile, the best-selling Alsvin Lumiere variant now costs Rs 4,899,000 after a Rs 100,000 increase. The top-tier Lumiere Black Edition is now priced at Rs 4,999,000, also reflecting a Rs 100,000 hike.

Design and Features

The Alsvin stands out with its dynamic butterfly grille, halogen projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and sculpted sides that add to its aerodynamic profile.

The Lumiere and Black Edition variants further enhance the exterior with a sunroof, shark fin antenna, and heated side mirrors.

Inside, the cabin offers premium features such as ivory beige faux leather seats, a multifunctional D-shaped steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen Human Machine Interface (HMI). This system allows for vehicle settings customization, multimedia, and connectivity functions.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

Under the hood, the Alsvin is powered by Euro-5 compliant engines. The 1.3L variant delivers 99 hp with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the 1.5L engine offers 105 hp with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Fuel efficiency ranges from 12 to 16 km/l, depending on road and driving conditions.

Changan Alsvin offers a smooth and stable ride, thanks to features like ABS, cruise control, 2535mm wheelbase, and 151mm ground clearance—making it ideal for both city commuting and occasional highway drives.

Conclusion

Despite the recent price hike, Changan Alsvin remains one of the most value-packed sedans in Pakistan. With sleek styling, modern tech, and efficient performance, it continues to rival established players like Honda City and Toyota Yaris.
