Karachi – Changan Motors Limited has announced the resumption of full-scale production and deliveries of its Deepal S05 REEV at its Karachi facility, following a brief delay caused by late arrival of completely knocked down (CKD) kits.

In a notice shared with customers on Wednesday, the automaker confirmed that all pending CKD kits have now been received, enabling the restart of production and immediate dispatch of vehicles on a priority basis.

“We know that many of you have been waiting for your vehicles with great anticipation,” Changan Motors said, extending apologies for the inconvenience caused and appreciating customers’ patience during the delay.

The company explained that the disruption was due to delayed CKD kit shipments required for local assembly. With supplies now in place, production has resumed while adhering to “the highest standards of quality and precision.”

Changan Motors added that it aims to fulfill all pending February orders and the majority of March orders by the end of March. Dealerships have been aligned to ensure smooth and timely delivery, and customers will be contacted directly regarding their specific delivery schedules.

The Deepal S05 REEV, part of Changan’s new energy vehicle (NEV) lineup, has gained significant attention in Pakistan’s growing hybrid and electric vehicle market. The update comes amid increasing consumer demand for fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles in a high-cost fuel environment.

With production back on track, Changan Motors is positioned to meet the rising demand for alternative fuel vehicles across the country.
