The world’s first REEV pickup truck arrives with a dual-motor 4×4 setup, 529 Nm torque and more than 700 km of combined range.
Changan Pakistan has officially revealed the price and booking details of its new Nevo Hunter REEV pickup, introducing the company’s first pickup truck in the local market. The model is positioned as a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) and is promoted as the world’s first REEV pickup.
Changan Nevo Hunter Price and Booking
The Changan Nevo Hunter price in Pakistan has been set at an introductory ex-factory price of Rs10,990,000. Customers interested in purchasing the pickup can book it by paying Rs2.2 million.
The new pickup combines the practicality of a conventional truck with an electrified powertrain. Instead of directly driving the wheels, its petrol engine works as a generator to supply electricity to the battery and electric motors.
Performance and Powertrain
The Nevo Hunter comes equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine serving as a range extender, paired with a 31.18 kWh LFP battery and dual electric motors. The setup delivers a four-wheel-drive configuration, making the pickup suitable for a variety of road and driving conditions.
The dual-motor system produces a maximum 322 horsepower and 529 Nm of torque. According to the provided specifications, the pickup can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
For electric driving, the Nevo Hunter offers a 131 km pure electric range under the NEDC cycle. Its combined driving range is listed between 700 and 900 km, depending on operating conditions.
Charging and Utility Features
The pickup supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in around 30 minutes. With AC charging, a full 0–100% charge takes approximately 5.6 hours.
Another notable feature is its 3.3 kW V2L capability, enabling the vehicle to supply power to external electrical devices. The pickup also gets a 70-litre fuel tank, supporting longer journeys when the battery requires additional range.
With its REEV technology, 4×4 drivetrain and competitive introductory pricing, the Changan Nevo Hunter adds a new electrified option to Pakistan’s growing pickup and new-energy vehicle market.
