Deliveries of the all-new Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV are set to begin from June 2026, as Chery Master Pakistan gears up for its official launch on April 10.

The move marks a major step toward expanding Pakistan’s plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) landscape while intensifying competition in the SUV segment.

Positioned as a C-segment 5-seater SUV, the Tiggo 7 PHEV will be introduced as a locally assembled (CKD) model from day one.

The company has confirmed that delivery timelines will depend on booking volumes, but early customers can expect to receive their vehicles within June 2026—making it one of the fastest rollout plans in the hybrid category.

With petrol prices in Pakistan remaining volatile, Chery is placing strong emphasis on cost efficiency. The Tiggo 7 PHEV is designed to reduce fuel expenses by more than 70% during daily commutes when driven in pure electric mode.

This not only offers relief to consumers but also contributes to lowering fuel imports and easing pressure on the country’s energy bill.

Built on Chery’s fifth-generation Super Hybrid platform, the SUV integrates a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an 18.3 kWh battery pack and a dedicated hybrid transmission.

The system delivers an impressive 255 kW (342 horsepower) and 525 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.4 seconds—offering both efficiency and performance in one package.

For urban drivers, the vehicle provides over 90 kilometres of pure electric range, while the combined driving range exceeds 1,200 kilometres.

This makes it an ideal choice for both city commuting and long-distance travel—something Pakistani buyers increasingly demand.

Globally, the Tiggo 7 series has maintained strong sales momentum, ranking among China’s top-selling SUVs for four consecutive years. Its international success adds further credibility as it enters the Pakistani market.

Inside, the SUV is equipped with premium and safety-focused features, including eight airbags, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 24.6-inch dual display, Sony sound system, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality—allowing users to power external devices directly from the car.

The brand’s local partner, Master Auto Engineering, has already established a nationwide dealership and aftersales network.

Test drives are expected to be available across major cities ahead of the launch, enhancing customer engagement.

While official pricing and booking details will be revealed on April 10, industry insiders suggest that early deliveries are being prioritized to stay ahead of potential regulatory changes affecting hybrid vehicles.

As plug-in hybrid options remain limited in Pakistan, the Tiggo 7 PHEV is shaping up to be a compelling, tech-forward alternative for buyers seeking fuel efficiency without compromising on performance.
