According to the PMD, continental air is prevailing over most regions of Pakistan, contributing to dry conditions and a noticeable drop in temperatures, especially during nighttime and early morning hours.

Friday:
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Very cold conditions are likely in upper hilly areas during morning and night. Additionally, moderate to dense fog may develop over the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh, potentially affecting road visibility.
Saturday:
Similar weather conditions are forecast for Saturday, with cold and dry weather nationwide and very cold temperatures in upper hilly regions during morning and nighttime. Fog is again expected to persist over the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.
