Recording the lowest minimum temperatures for today, the PMD reported chilling figures: Leh at -12°C, Skardu at -08°C, Astore and Kalam at -06°C, Gilgit and Kalat at -05°C, and Gupis and Srinagar at -04°C.

Furthermore, commuters are urged to exercise caution, particularly in areas prone to fog and smog. Reduced visibility can lead to hazardous driving conditions, necessitating the use of headlights and adherence to traffic regulations.
Farmers are also advised to take precautions to protect their crops from the cold temperatures. The agricultural community should be prepared for the potential impact of the weather on their livelihoods.
As the nation prepares for the cold front, the PMD will continue to monitor and update the weather forecast. It is essential for the public to stay informed about the changing weather conditions and follow the recommendations provided by the meteorological authorities to ensure their safety and well-being during this period of challenging weather.
