Currency Exchange Rates Today in Pakistan – September 25, 2024

Karachi, September 25, 2024 – The currency exchange rates in Pakistan opened with some significant fluctuations today as trade commenced in the open market. As the Pakistani rupee continues to navigate the ever-volatile global currency market, it reflects a range of buying and selling rates for various foreign currencies. These rates are highly relevant for importers, exporters, and the general public who require foreign currency for travel or international transactions.

One of the major highlights in today’s exchange market is the strength of the US Dollar (USD) currency, which is being bought at PKR 279.1 and sold at PKR 280.7. The USD continues to exert significant influence on the local economy, reflecting both global economic trends and the internal economic conditions of Pakistan.

The Euro (EUR), another key currency, is trading at PKR 308.85 for buying and PKR 311.6 for selling. This reflects the recent strength of the Euro in international markets, driven by economic activity in the Eurozone. Similarly, the British Pound Sterling (GBP) remains robust, being bought at PKR 366.6 and sold at PKR 370.1, maintaining its high value against the rupee.

In the Gulf region, the Saudi Riyal (SAR) is being bought at PKR 73.85 and sold at PKR 74.4, while the UAE Dirham (AED) is trading at PKR 75.55 for buying and PKR 76.2 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) remain among the highest-valued currencies, with the BHD being bought at PKR 732.3 and sold at PKR 740.3, and the KWD being traded at PKR 900.65 for buying and PKR 910.15 for selling.

Asian currencies, such as the Japanese Yen (JPY) and Chinese Yuan (CNY), are trading relatively lower against the Pakistani rupee. The JPY is being bought at PKR 1.93 and sold at PKR 1.99, while the CNY is being traded at PKR 38.25 for buying and PKR 38.65 for selling.

Other notable currencies include the Canadian Dollar (CAD), which is being bought at PKR 207.1 and sold at PKR 209.5, and the Australian Dollar (AUD), which is trading at PKR 185.25 for buying and PKR 187.5 for selling.
