Karachi, December 25, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily cargo operations report for Thursday, December 25, 2025, to keep shipping lines, port operators, importers, exporters, and other stakeholders informed about vessel movements and port activity.
According to the authority, the report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) and covers the movement of vessels over the past 24 hours. Port Qasim continues to play a vital role in Pakistan’s maritime trade by ensuring smooth handling of containerized and bulk cargo despite fluctuating global shipping conditions.
As per the latest update, one container vessel departed the port during the reporting period. The vessel M.V. Hansa Africa, managed by GAC Shipping, sailed from the Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT-VII). The ship, with a length overall of 231 meters, was engaged in container operations and departed in the evening, reflecting steady containerized export and import activity at the terminal.
On the berthing side, three vessels were reported to have arrived and berthed at various terminals. The container ship M.V. MSC Daisy, operated by MSC Pakistan, berthed at QT2-II in the morning to handle container cargo. In the liquid bulk segment, M.T. Prabhu Nand arrived at the Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT) carrying a significant quantity of palm oil, contributing to the country’s edible oil supply chain. Meanwhile, M.T. Monjasa Master berthed at the FOTCO terminal to discharge a large volume of condenser cargo, highlighting continued energy-related imports through Port Qasim.
PQA stated that port operations remained smooth and uninterrupted, with coordinated efforts from terminal operators, shipping agents, and port management. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to efficient cargo handling and timely vessel turnaround to support Pakistan’s trade and industrial sectors.
