gold and silver rates update

Karachi, December 1, 2025 – The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA) released the latest daily rates of gold and silver on Monday, showing a noticeable increase in local bullion prices.

Rising trends in the global markets contributed to the surge, reflecting growing investor interest in precious metals amid geopolitical and economic uncertainties.

According to the association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs2,700, reaching Rs446,862 from the previous closing of Rs444,162. Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs2,315 to Rs383,112, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams climbed by Rs2,122, settling at Rs351,198.

The increase in domestic gold prices aligns with global trends, as the international gold rate per ounce rose by $27, closing at $4,245. Market experts attribute this surge to rising demand for safe-haven assets, trade uncertainties, and fluctuating foreign exchange rates.

Silver prices also saw upward movement. The 24-karat silver per tola gained Rs54, reaching Rs5,963, and per 10 grams rose by Rs46, closing at Rs5,112. On the international market, silver per ounce increased by $0.54, reaching $56.91.

The APSGJA emphasized that these prices are influenced by interbank foreign exchange rates and global bullion market fluctuations. Investors and buyers are advised to monitor both domestic and international markets for further trends.
