Karachi, February 19, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Thursday released its daily shipping activity report to facilitate importers, exporters, shipping agents, and other stakeholders involved in maritime trade.

According to the PQA, the shipping activity report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT), covering vessel movements during the previous 24 hours. The report provides details of sailing and berthing operations, reflecting the ongoing flow of commercial shipping at one of Pakistan’s busiest ports.

During the last 24 hours, the container vessel M.V. Hansa Europe successfully sailed from Port Qasim. The ship, with a length overall (LOA) of 240 meters, was carrying containerized cargo and departed from the QICT-VII berth at around 1:00 PM under the agency of GAC Shipping. The smooth sailing operation highlights the port’s efficient handling of container traffic.

On the berthing side, two vessels arrived at the port to discharge and load cargo. The container ship M.V. AS Alva, with an LOA of 190 meters, berthed at QT2-I at approximately 9:00 AM. The vessel is being handled by MSC Pakistan and is expected to support ongoing container operations.

The vessel arrived with a cargo of 5,566 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) under the agency of Universal Shipping, contributing to the country’s energy supply chain.

Port officials stated that regular vessel movements and smooth cargo handling operations are crucial for maintaining supply chains, supporting industrial activity, and facilitating international trade. Stakeholders have been advised to stay updated with daily shipping reports for timely planning and logistics coordination.
