Karachi, March 24, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has issued its daily shipping activity report for Tuesday, providing updated vessel movement details to facilitate stakeholders, shipping agents, and logistics operators.
The report, updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT), outlines vessel operations over the past 24 hours, including sailings, berthings, and shifting activities at various terminals.
During the reporting period, multiple vessels completed their sailing operations from different berths. These included M.T-NCC SAMA, carrying palm oil, which departed from LCT berth, and M.V-NORTHERN GUARD, a container vessel that sailed from QT2-I berth. Additionally, M.T-NCC REEM, carrying Mogas, also completed its departure from FOTCO terminal.
On the berthing side, vessels such as M.V-SPIRIT OF BERTRAM were recorded as berthed at QT2-I, while M.V-VIRGO, carrying gas oil, docked at FOTCO terminal. These movements reflect ongoing import activities, particularly in petroleum products and containerized cargo.
The report also noted vessel shifting operations, including M.T-EXQUISITE, which was moved from an outer anchorage location. Such shifting activities are part of routine port management operations aimed at optimizing berth utilization and maintaining smooth cargo handling.
Port Qasim continues to play a vital role in Pakistan’s maritime trade, handling a significant portion of the country’s imports, including energy products, edible oils, and containers. Regular updates like this shipping activity report help ensure transparency and efficient coordination among port users.
Authorities emphasize that timely dissemination of vessel movement data supports operational planning and enhances overall port efficiency, contributing to the smooth functioning of Pakistan’s supply chain and trade logistics.
