Karachi, September 23, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released details of its daily shipping operations for Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
The update, issued at 0800 hours, covers vessel movements, berthing schedules, and other operational activities over the past 24 hours. These reports are essential for stakeholders, including importers, exporters, and cargo handlers, who rely on timely and accurate information for smooth logistics planning.
According to the PQA, two vessels sailed from the port during the reported period. Container carrier M.V-Seaspan Santos departed from QICT-VII at 12:30 hours, while tanker M.T-Kaisa I sailed from EVTL at 15:30 hours. The successful completion of these movements reflects efficient turnaround of vessels, which is a crucial aspect of port shipping operations.
Meanwhile, four vessels were berthed at different terminals. M.V-Nord Agano was accommodated at FAP early in the morning, followed by M.V-GFS Prime at QICT-V around midday. Later, M.V-CMA CGM Zanzibar berthed at QICT-VII, and tanker M.T-AN 61 was handled at EVTL in the evening. By night, M.T-UOG Harriet G docked at FOTCO, highlighting the busy shipping activity at Port Qasim throughout the day.
The PQA emphasized that its daily shipping updates serve as a transparent mechanism to ensure port users are informed about vessel schedules and cargo handling. The authority continues to streamline its operations to facilitate trade and strengthen Pakistan’s maritime logistics network.
