Karachi, December 18, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Thursday, providing updated details on vessel movements over the past 24 hours to support port users, shipping agents, and trade stakeholders.

According to the PQA, the report was updated at 8:00 am and covers both sailing and berthing operations at various terminals of Port Qasim, reflecting steady cargo handling and operational activity at the country’s second-largest seaport.

During the reporting period, the vessel MV Aquila Ocean sailed from Port Qasim after loading 68,843 metric tonnes of soybean seed. The ship departed from the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) under the agency of Ocean Services. Another vessel, MV Carl Schulte, also sailed later in the day from QICT-VII, marking continued container vessel movements at the terminal.

On the berthing side, several vessels arrived carrying a mix of energy, agricultural, and containerized cargo. The tanker MT Torm Integrity berthed at FOTCO with a shipment of 58,158 metric tonnes of gas oil, handled by Al-Pine Marine. The container vessel MV Carl Schulte docked at QICT-VII, while MV MSC New Haven arrived at QT2-II, adding to container handling operations at the port.

Bulk cargo activity also remained strong, with MV Trans Asia berthing at PIBT carrying 70,129 metric tonnes of soybean seed. Additionally, MV Saltwind Explorer docked at HFP&S-IV with 40,895 metric tonnes of coal, supporting energy and industrial supply chains.

Port officials said the smooth movement of vessels highlights efficient port operations and underscores Port Qasim’s vital role in facilitating Pakistan’s international trade and energy imports.
