Karachi, December 27, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Saturday, providing updated information to shipping agents, importers, exporters, and other port stakeholders. The report reflects vessel movements recorded during the past 24 hours and was updated at 8:00 AM to ensure timely and accurate operational data.
According to the Port Qasim Authority, one vessel sailed from the port during the reporting period. The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier M.T-Joseph departed from the SSGC berth after completing loading operations. The vessel, with a length overall of 150 meters, carried approximately 3,635 metric tons of LPG. The ship was handled by M. In addition to the sailing activity, several vessels berthed at Port Qasim during the last 24 hours, reflecting steady import operations across multiple terminals. The palm oil tanker M.T-Bentley I berthed at the LCT terminal with a cargo of over 19,000 metric tons, managed by Al-Pine Marine. Meanwhile, the chemical carrier M.T-Gaschem Werra docked at the EVTL terminal carrying ethylene, further supporting industrial supply chains.
Energy-related imports remained a key focus, as the gas oil tanker M.T-Sirtaki berthed at the FOTCO terminal with nearly 40,000 metric tons of cargo. Additionally, the LNG carrier M.T-Al Bidda arrived at the EETL terminal carrying more than 134,000 metric tons of liquefied natural gas, underlining the port’s critical role in meeting Pakistan’s energy needs. Another LPG vessel, M.T-Amir Gas, also berthed at the SSGC terminal later in the day.
Port officials stated that cargo handling and vessel berthing operations continued smoothly with no major congestion reported. The Port Qasim Authority regularly issues daily shipping activity updates to ensure transparency, operational planning, and coordination among all stakeholders involved in maritime trade and logistics.
