Karachi, February 2, 2026 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Monday, providing an update on vessel movements and cargo handling over the past 24 hours. The report, updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), aims to keep stakeholders, traders, and port users informed.
According to the PQA, two vessels, Stena Continent and Chem Barcelona, carrying Mogas and chemicals, berthed at FOTCO Oil Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Sunday. Additionally, three ships—Gina Tiger, Ejnan, and Kapta Mathios—arrived at the outer anchorage with cargos including chemicals, LPG, and coal.
During the past 24 hours, six ships were actively engaged at PQA berths. Among them, the chemical carrier Chem Barcelona is expected to sail on Monday after completing its operations. The port handled a total cargo volume of 49,120 tonnes, comprising entirely of imported goods, while export cargo activity was minimal during the period.
At present, eleven ships remain at the outer anchorage of Port Qasim. Two of these, GC Argon and Ejnan, along with three additional vessels—Al-Kyooni, Eleni-T, and Zhuo Yue Yuan Yang—carrying chemicals, LNG, coal, and containers, are scheduled to berth at EVTL, EETL, PIBT, and QICT terminals on Monday.
Port authorities emphasized that this shipping activity reflects ongoing steady operations and efficient cargo handling at Port Qasim, supporting trade and industrial supply chains in Pakistan.
