Karachi, January 30, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Friday, providing an update for importers, exporters, and maritime stakeholders.

According to the report, four vessels—MSC Flosta-III, Torm Davao, Fuwairit, and Valiant—berthed at the Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT), FOTCO Oil Terminal, Pakistan Gas Port Terminal, and Marginal Wharf Terminal respectively. These ships carried containerized cargo, gas oil, LNG, and coal.

Meanwhile, four additional vessels—Vera, Stena Continent, Chem Barcelona, and Maya Gas-1—arrived at the port’s outer anchorage over the last 24 hours, transporting palm oil, Mogas, chemicals, and LPG.

In total, ten ships were active at PQA berths during the day, with eight vessels—including Gas Aurora, BW Osaka, Sea Champion, Torm Davao, Pravaj, Bristol, MSC Flosta, and ONE Morivator—expected to depart today.

Cargo handling reached 232,180 tonnes, comprising 166,735 tonnes of imports and 65,445 tonnes of exports. A total of 4,809 containers were processed, including 1,719 TEUs of imports and 3,090 TEUs of exports, reflecting steady port throughput.

Currently, eleven ships remain at outer anchorage, including Chemroad Hawk, MBA Future, Clear Ocean Mortiz, Sinar Tidore, and ONE Motivator, carrying palm oil, soya bean seed, Mogas, chemicals, and containers. These vessels are expected to berth today at LCT, FAP, FOTCO, EVTL, and QICT terminals.

The PQA continues to maintain smooth operations, ensuring timely handling of cargo and efficient berthing schedules to support Pakistan’s import-export activities.
