Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, March 19, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority has issued its daily shipping activity report for Thursday, outlining vessel movements over the past 24 hours to facilitate stakeholders including importers, exporters, and logistics operators. The report is updated daily at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).

During the reporting period, multiple vessels completed berthing and sailing operations across various terminals at Port Qasim, handling a diverse range of commodities including cement, containers, gas oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and industrial chemicals.

On the sailing side, vessels departed after completing loading and unloading operations. Among them, container and bulk carriers played a key role in maintaining trade flow. Vessels carrying commodities such as cement, ethylene, and containerized cargo ensured smooth export and import operations through designated berths.

On the berthing front, several vessels arrived and were assigned to terminals for cargo handling. Tankers carrying gas oil and LPG were docked at fuel terminals, while container ships were directed to container terminals for efficient cargo management. These operations highlight the port’s capacity to handle both bulk and containerized trade simultaneously.

The coordination between shipping agents, terminal operators, and port authorities ensures timely vessel turnaround and efficient cargo movement. Berths such as FOTCO, EVTL, QICT, and QT2-II remained active during the day, reflecting steady maritime activity at the port.

Port Qasim continues to play a vital role in Pakistan’s trade infrastructure by facilitating the movement of essential commodities. Regular updates on vessel movements help improve transparency, planning, and operational efficiency for all stakeholders involved in maritime logistics.
