Karachi, December 1, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Monday, providing an updated overview of vessel movements, berthing schedules, and cargo operations over the past 24 hours.
The report, issued at 8:00 AM, offers critical operational details for importers, exporters, shipping lines, terminal operators, and logistics stakeholders.
According to the latest update, several key vessels departed from Port Qasim during the reported period. Among them, M.V. Manila Trader sailed with a coal consignment, while M.T. Marina Arung departed carrying palm oil. Another vessel, M.V. Limco Gold, completed loading sand before sailing out. Container vessel MSC Prelude V also departed later in the day, marking one of the major ship movements handled at the port.
In terms of berthing activity, multiple vessels were accommodated across various terminals. Gas oil carrier M.T. Al Salam-II berthed at FOTCO, handling over 59,000 tonnes of product. Container ship M.V. Eleni T was received at QICT-VII, followed by MSC Prelude V, which shifted to its designated berth at QT2-II. Additionally, palm oil vessel M.T. Atlantic Rainbow berthed at LCT to manage its cargo operations.
The report also highlights vessel shifting operations. M.V. Christos K, carrying soybean seed, was shifted from anchorage as part of routine port handling procedures. Such movements are essential for ensuring efficient traffic flow, timely cargo clearance, and optimal berth utilization.
