Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, December 15, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Monday to keep maritime stakeholders, shipping agents, and logistics operators informed about vessel movements at one of Pakistan’s busiest ports.

According to the PQA, the report was updated at 8:00 AM, covering shipping activity and vessel operations recorded during the previous 24 hours. The update provides details on both sailing and berthing activities, reflecting steady cargo handling and operational continuity at the port.

During the reported period, several vessels departed from Port Qasim after completing cargo operations. These included oil and chemical tankers as well as bulk carriers transporting commodities such as low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), coal, and other chemical products. The smooth sailing of these vessels indicates uninterrupted export and import flows, supporting energy supplies and industrial demand across the country.

In addition to departures, multiple vessels berthed at various terminals of Port Qasim. Container ships and tankers carrying essential imports such as ethylene, palm oil, gas oil, and LPG arrived at dedicated berths including QICT, FOTCO, SSGC, EVTL, and LCT terminals. The timely berthing of these ships highlights efficient port management and coordinated efforts by shipping agents and terminal operators.

Port officials stated that regular dissemination of shipping activity reports is aimed at ensuring transparency and operational planning for traders, freight forwarders, and port users. These updates help stakeholders track cargo movements, plan logistics, and assess port congestion levels.

Port Qasim remains a key gateway for Pakistan’s international trade, handling a significant share of the country’s liquid, bulk, and containerized cargo. The daily shipping report reflects the port’s ongoing role in supporting economic activity and maintaining supply chain stability.
