Karachi, December 28, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has issued its daily shipping activity report for Sunday, offering an overview of vessel movements over the last 24 hours to support port users, shipping agents, importers, and exporters. The report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) and highlights both sailing and berthing operations at various terminals.
According to PQA officials, multiple vessels carrying energy and industrial commodities departed Port Qasim during the reporting period. These included ships transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG), coal, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), reflecting continued activity in Pakistan’s energy supply chain. The timely sailing of these vessels indicates smooth cargo handling and coordination among terminal operators, shipping agents, and port authorities.
In addition to departures, the port also witnessed the berthing of several vessels carrying essential raw materials. Ships loaded with coal and chemical cargoes such as paraxylene arrived at designated berths, further underlining Port Qasim’s role as a key hub for industrial imports. These arrivals are expected to support power generation, manufacturing, and downstream industries across the country.
Port officials noted that operational activities remained stable, with vessels berthed and sailed as per schedule under normal weather and navigational conditions. Efficient turnaround times and adherence to safety protocols were maintained throughout the reporting period.
The daily shipping activity report serves as an important reference for stakeholders to track cargo flows, vessel schedules, and berth occupancy at Port Qasim. As one of Pakistan’s busiest deep-sea ports, Port Qasim continues to play a critical role in facilitating international trade, ensuring energy security, and supporting overall economic activity.
PQA will continue to release regular updates to keep stakeholders informed about shipping movements and port operations.
