Karachi, February 18, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Wednesday, detailing vessel movements over the past 24 hours to facilitate port users, shipping agents, importers, exporters, and logistics stakeholders.
According to the PQA, the report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) and highlights both the sailing and berthing of vessels at various terminals. The daily update offers valuable insights into cargo handling, port congestion, and overall trade flow, playing a crucial role in operational planning for maritime businesses.
During the reporting period, several vessels departed the port carrying key commodities, including palm oil, coal, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and containerized cargo. Among the notable sailings were oil tankers and bulk carriers, reflecting steady import and export operations. Container vessels also sailed, indicating continued movement of general and industrial goods through the port.
On the berthing side, Port Qasim received multiple ships loaded with liquefied natural gas (LNG), palm oil, and containers. The arrival of LNG carriers is particularly significant, as these shipments contribute to Pakistan’s energy supply chain and help meet rising domestic demand. Meanwhile, container ships berthed at QICT and QT2 terminals underscore ongoing activity in the country’s international trade and manufacturing sectors.
Port officials stated that operations remained smooth, with efficient handling of cargo and coordinated scheduling of vessel movements. The authority reiterated its commitment to enhancing port efficiency, reducing turnaround time, and ensuring seamless trade facilitation.
