Karachi, January 15, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Thursday, January 15, 2026, providing stakeholders with updates on vessel movements, berthings, and shifting activities over the past 24 hours.
The report, updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), highlights the active sailing of multiple vessels carrying diverse cargoes, including coal, soybean seeds, LNG, LPG, paraxylene, and containers. Notable sailings included M.V-FEHU with 54,723 tons of coal, M.V-BULK BOLIVIA transporting 58,688 tons of soybean seeds, and M.T-SHENG HANG 005 carrying 135,708 tons of LNG. Other vessels such as M.T-GALAXY GAS and M.T-EVA TRUST handled LPG and paraxylene shipments, respectively, while container vessel M.V-HANSA AFRICA also set sail during the day.
The daily report also covers vessels berthing at Port Qasim, including M.T-ST. MARY with palm oil, M.V-MANINA with fertilizer, and LPG carrier M.T-GAS AURORA. Several other container and cargo vessels arrived at scheduled berths throughout the day, ensuring smooth port operations.
Additionally, the report details vessel shifting activities, such as M.T-MARINE ISTA, which was moved for bunker supply operations, demonstrating the port’s continuous logistical management to maintain operational efficiency.
The PQA emphasized that timely publication of shipping updates is crucial for port operators, shipping agents, importers, and exporters, allowing them to plan and coordinate cargo handling efficiently while maintaining smooth maritime trade operations at Pakistan’s major commercial port.
