Karachi, July 18, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Friday, July 18, 2025, providing an update on maritime activities over the past 24 hours. The report, issued at 0800 hours, outlines vessel movements, berthing details, and cargo handling status to ensure transparency and facilitate port stakeholders.
According to the official update, multiple cargo vessels engaged in import and export operations during the daily shipping cycle. Among the vessels that set sail was M.V. Rome Trader, which departed from the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) after offloading 55,000 metric tons of imported coal. The vessel maintained a draft of 12.80 meters and was managed by AL-PINE MARINE, with its departure logged at 1500 hours.
In terms of berthing activity, several key vessels arrived and began operations at various terminals across the port. M.T. Chemroad Polaris, carrying 18,096 metric tons of palm oil, berthed at Marginal Wharf-I under the agency of AL-PINE MARINE at 0900 hours. Another major coal carrier, M.V. ST Cergue, handled by OCEAN WORLD, arrived shortly after at HFP&S-IV terminal with 42,508 metric tons of coal.
Fuel imports were also active at the port, with M.T. Apanemo berthing at the FOTCO terminal. The vessel brought in 57,533 metric tons of Mogas and maintained a 12.30-meter draft. The daily shipping report also noted the arrival of M.V. MSC Aditi, a container ship managed by MSC Pakistan, which docked at Qasim International Container Terminal (QT2-I) with a draft of 11.80 meters.
