Karachi, March 3, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has issued its daily shipping operations report for Tuesday, providing key updates on vessel movements over the past 24 hours at Port Qasim.
The authority releases shipping activity details every day at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) to keep shipping agents, importers, exporters, and other stakeholders informed about port operations.
Sailing of Vessels
During the reporting period, three vessels departed from Port Qasim carrying containers, coal, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
The container vessel M.V. Albert P sailed from QICT-VII berth at 13:30 under the agency of GAC Shipping. The ship measures 261 meters in length overall (LOA) and departed with an aft and forward draft of 11.75 meters.
Bulk carrier M.V. Astro Merope left PIBT berth at 15:00, transporting 60,500 metric tons of imported coal. The vessel has a length of 200 meters and recorded a sailing draft of 12.97 meters.
Meanwhile, LPG carrier M.T. MD 23 departed from the SSGC berth at 15:15 with 3,875 metric tons of cargo. The tanker has a length of 115 meters and maintained a draft of 7.35 meters aft and 6.85 meters forward at the time of departure.
Berthing of Vessels
On the arrival side, three vessels berthed at Port Qasim carrying coal, high sulphur fuel oil (HSFO), and pet coke.
Bulk carrier M.V. AM Ocean Silver berthed at PQEPT at 14:00 with 50,408 metric tons of coal. The vessel, measuring 190 meters in length, recorded a draft of 12.00 meters.
Tanker M.T. Grand Ace 10 docked at the FOTCO terminal at 14:15, carrying 14,390 metric tons of high sulphur fuel oil. The ship’s length is 182 meters, with an operational draft of 7.40 meters.
Additionally, M.V. Venus Halo arrived at PIBT at 14:45 with 53,627 metric tons of pet coke. The 190-meter-long vessel reported a draft of 12.80 meters aft and 12.51 meters forward.
