Karachi, November 4, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Tuesday, providing details on vessel movements, berthing, and cargo handling activities during the past 24 hours to ensure transparency and operational efficiency for maritime stakeholders.
According to the PQA update issued at 0800 hours, the port witnessed steady operational activity with several vessels engaged in container handling, liquid cargo operations, and bulk imports.
During the reporting period, the container vessel M.V. Seaspan Santos sailed out from the QICT-VII terminal after completing loading and unloading operations. The vessel, managed by GAC Shipping, handled a significant volume of containers and departed around 11:00 AM.
Meanwhile, fresh berthing activity continued at the port. The tanker M.T. Fairchem Pathfinder berthed at EVTL terminal to discharge 24,660 metric tons of phosphoric acid, under the agency of Al-Pine Marine Services. The vessel, measuring 158 meters in length, began its operations around 09:00 AM.
Another vessel, M.V. GFS Genesis, also berthed at Qasim International Terminal (QT2-II) later in the day to manage general cargo operations, ensuring a smooth flow of trade through Pakistan’s second-largest port.
The Port Qasim Authority continues to streamline maritime logistics, providing real-time updates for importers, exporters, and shipping agents to enhance operational coordination and reduce turnaround times.
