The update, issued at 8:00 AM PKT, covers the last 24 hours of shipping activity, ensuring smooth operations for importers, exporters, and port operators.
According to the PQA, several vessels were scheduled for sailing today, including the M.V. MSC Madeleine and M.T. Sidra Al Wakra, carrying commodities like bitumen. The scheduled departures are expected to maintain efficient cargo flow and minimize congestion at the berths.
Meanwhile, a number of vessels are set for berthing at the port today. Key arrivals include M.T. Lyng Trader carrying palm oil, M.V. Paolo Topic loaded with steel coils, and M.V. Da Yu Xia transporting project cargo. These vessels are assigned specific berths and expected arrival times, facilitating timely unloading and handling of goods.
Additionally, the port authority reported vessel shifting operations, including the M.T. Marine Ista, which will move between berths to optimize space and operational efficiency. Such coordinated scheduling ensures that cargo handling and maritime logistics proceed without delays.
Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime hubs, handling a wide range of commodities including petroleum products, steel, project cargo, and bulk imports. Stakeholders are advised to follow daily updates from the PQA to track vessel movements, estimated arrival and departure times, and berth assignments.
The PQA continues to emphasize efficiency, safety, and timely communication to maintain seamless shipping operations at the port.
