Denise Richards has made an unexpected return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) just as her marriage to Aaron Phypers continues to unravel.

Her comeback was captured by Bravo cameras on Saturday night while filming at Madre, a popular Los Angeles restaurant.

TMZ reported that Denise Richards reunited with castmates Sutton Stracke and Erika Jayne for dinner, where she filmed scenes filled with tension and raw emotion as she opened up about her split. Her return comes on the heels of the cancellation of her solo docuseries Denise and Her Wild Things, which will not return for a second season. Insiders clarified that the project was always intended as a limited run, but talks about bringing Richards back to RHOBH had been ongoing amid her very public personal turmoil.

Though it remains unclear whether Denise Richards will rejoin the show as a full-time housewife or return in a “friend of the cast” role, sources claim she is eager to reclaim her voice on the series and use the platform to share her truth.

Richards’ six-year marriage to Phypers hit a breaking point in July when he filed for divorce, accusing her of infidelity and presenting alleged evidence pulled from her laptop. The situation escalated when Denise Richards was granted a temporary restraining order, citing verbal and physical abuse. Phypers responded by filing a police report, alleging she assaulted him during a July 4 incident and caused property damage.

Drama, it seems, is never far from Denise Richards—on or off camera.
