Universal Pictures’ “Despicable Me 4” has officially hit theaters worldwide, continuing the beloved franchise that has captivated audiences for years.

Steve Carrell, who reprises his role as Gru, shared his enthusiasm for the new character Poppy in an interview with Screen Rant. “Poppy is one of my favorite characters ever,” Carrell said. “She is this neighbor girl, in this new town they move to, and she is a monster.
Gru is terrified, but he loves it. He always pretends that he doesn’t love something, but he secretly does. And this is one of those times. Let’s pull a heist. That’s right up his alley. He loves it. That sequence is a lot of fun.”
The film boasts a star-studded voice cast, including returning favorites Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Pierre Coffin, Dana Gaier, and Madison Polan. New additions to the ensemble include Joey King, Sofia Vergara, Chloe Fineman, and Chris Renaud, adding even more talent to the animated adventure.
