Karachi, August 10, 2023 – In a significant development aimed at bolstering economic ties and promoting collaboration, the Malaysian Consul General Harman Hardynata Ahmed announced on Thursday that direct flights connecting Karachi to Kuala Lumpur are anticipated to be operational by the close of this year.

This move is anticipated to catalyze smoother business exchanges and foster a greater level of cooperation between the two nations, enhancing the existing bilateral relationship.

The announcement was made during a meeting with the office bearers of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI). Welcoming the Malaysian delegation, KATI President Faraz-ur-Rehman highlighted the ample investment opportunities available for Malaysian investors across diverse sectors within Pakistan.

Faraz-ur-Rehman emphasized that sectors such as technology, tourism, and agriculture present promising potential for Malaysian businesses and urged for closer economic integration.
