Dove Cameron is already thinking ahead to her big day and has begun working on a wedding vision board with her fiancé, Måneskin frontman Damiano David.
The singer and actress shared details about her engagement and wedding plans in a new interview with Vogue, published on Monday, January 26, offering fans a glimpse into her deeply personal approach to marriage.
Opening up about the proposal, Cameron revealed that the moment was completely unexpected and refreshingly natural. She shared that she was not wearing any makeup at the time, dressed casually in an oversized T-shirt with damp hair, unaware that David was about to propose. According to Cameron, the simplicity of the moment made it even more meaningful, especially since she is usually known for her bold and experimental beauty looks.
While the couple has kept most wedding details private, Cameron made it clear that she does not plan to follow traditional bridal norms. She explained that conventional “soft” or classic wedding makeup styles do not feel authentic to her personality. Instead, the actress said she would prefer either no makeup at all or a more edgy, imperfect look that feels true to who she is.
Cameron, 30, confirmed that she and David actually got engaged in October but chose to keep the news private for several months. Engagement rumors began circulating when she was spotted wearing a ring in Sydney later that month, before the couple officially announced their engagement in January.
As Cameron begins planning her wedding, she emphasized that self-expression and authenticity will be at the heart of every decision.
