According to the PMD, the weather in Islamabad on Friday, January 10, will remain predominantly cold and dry, with partly cloudy skies anticipated during the evening and night hours. By Saturday, the weather will turn colder and cloudier, with a possibility of light drizzle enhancing the winter ambiance.

The PMD has identified a shallow westerly wave affecting the upper regions of the country. Continental air continues to dominate most areas, contributing to dry and cold conditions.

Dense fog patches are likely to persist in northeastern Punjab, while light rain, accompanied by wind and thunderstorms, may occur in southeastern Punjab and eastern Sindh during the evening and night.
On Saturday, January 11, cold and dry weather will prevail in most areas, with very cold mornings and nights in hilly regions. Dense fog patches are expected in Punjab’s plains during the early hours. Rain, wind, and thunderstorms—with light snowfall over higher elevations—are expected at isolated locations in eastern Punjab, Kashmir, Murree, Galiyat, and their surrounding areas.
