Islamabad, March 16, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast that most districts of Punjab will experience dry weather over the next 24 hours.

As continental air continues to dominate the country’s weather system, dry conditions are expected to persist across Punjab, affecting multiple regions.

According to the PMD, the night of Sunday, March 16, 2025, will bring dry weather to most districts of Punjab. Residents of Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas should prepare for cold and dry conditions, as temperatures are expected to drop significantly during nighttime hours.

On Monday, March 17, 2025, Punjab will continue to witness dry weather, with no significant precipitation anticipated. The PMD’s forecast indicates that dry conditions will persist throughout Punjab, maintaining the current trend of clear skies and minimal cloud cover. Murree and Galliyat will experience cold and dry weather, reinforcing the ongoing dry spell in these areas.

At the national level, the PMD reported that continental air is prevailing across most parts of the country, contributing to the dry weather pattern in Punjab and beyond. While some regions may experience light rainfall, the majority of Punjab is expected to remain completely dry.
