Pakistan Weather

Islamabad, October 7, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly dry weather conditions across most parts of the country on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The latest weather advisory highlights a stable atmospheric pattern with minimal chances of rainfall except for some northern regions.

According to the synoptic situation issued by the PMD, continental air continues to dominate over much of Pakistan. A depression previously located over the west-central and adjoining northwest Arabian Sea has now weakened into a well-marked low-pressure area. It is expected to move east-southeastward and gradually diminish in intensity over the same region.

For Tuesday, the PMD noted that mainly dry weather prevailed in most areas. However, isolated rain, wind, or thunderstorms were observed in Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly zones. On Wednesday, the overall weather is likely to remain dry, particularly in southern and central parts of the country.

During the past 24 hours, rain-wind/thunderstorm activity was recorded in parts of Kashmir, upper and central Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Muzaffarabad received the highest rainfall at 61mm, followed by Kotli at 30mm and Rawalakot at 23mm. Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in Sindh and Balochistan, with Turbat recording the day’s highest temperature at 37°C.

The PMD added that the current dry weather trend may continue for the next few days, providing relatively stable and pleasant conditions for most regions of Pakistan.
